I am the artist, Garry L. Taylor (GLT).I added an "R" to honor my life partner of 43 years, Dr. Bill Richards, who has supported and encouraged me to follow my heart and pursue my art. I think of myself as a Neoimpressionist. I approach painting using the same thoughts regarding color, light, and atmosphere. For the most part I work with same color palette used by the Impressionists. I find myself not as loose and free as they were and with every painting work toward that end.

Also, being a Georgia O'Keefe aficionado, I like to paint large close ups of flowers.

Nowadays I only do stained glass as commissions and I have slowed my jewelry making down because it seems I can't put my finger on the pulse of what is fashionable.
